The Museum School Art Auction
The Museum School is thrilled to announce the return of its annual Art Auction, with a closing event on Friday, May 15th, 2026 at Bread & Salt in Barrio Logan. Over 40 artists have contributed to this year’s auction, which focuses on smaller-scale artworks that anyone can live with. Free and open to the public, the Art Auction will take place both in person and online, presenting artwork at accessible price points in formats ranging from painting, drawing, and photography, to mixed media sculpture, ceramics, and design objects.
The online silent auction will be open to public bidding beginning May 8th at 12pm and will close the night of the event, May 15th at 8 pm.
All proceeds support the artists and the Museum School in San Diego, California.

This year’s Auction will showcase artworks by leading artists from the San Diego-Tijuana region and beyond, including past San Diego Art Prize recipients Ingrid Hernández, Tatiana Ortiz-Rubio, Perry Vásquez, and Joe Yorty. Other featured artists include collaborating artist-brothers Einar and Jamex de la Torre, artists-in-residence at Revision San Diego, and third-grade Museum School students.
