Dave Lonteen started his career as an animator working on CD-Rom based video games in studios located in Carlsbad CA and San Diego, CA. Exposure to  a wide variety of creative and talented artists led Dave to develop his own unique and comical style. Dave credits early influences like MAD Magazine, classic Disney 2D feature length animated movies, Japanese animation known as anime, and the Spike and Mike Animation Festivals. Dave currently works building his business Dave Lonteen Illustration located in San Diego, CA doing commercial illustration and working on many local city community based projects.
