Olga García is a bilingual poet, physicist, mathematician, and editor of San Diego Poetry Annual’s Spanish/English edition. In this episode of Central Library’s Conversations with Poets (CWP), Olga and I discuss her extraordinary life. We talk about everything from the inspiration and influence of her unparalleled grandmothers to her resolute determination to become both physicist and poet.

Reg E Gaines is a two-time Tony Award-nominated playwright and Grammy Award-nominated lyricist. He has served as artistic director of the NYC Downtown Urban Arts Festival since 2007. He is writer, director, and producer of The 88 musical in collaboration with Calvin Gaines.
