Here’s how it works…
6:30pm to 7-ish: Open mic poetry sign up. We’re only doing 15 slots each night so if you want to share your poetry, get there early to get your spot.
7-ish to 7:30-ish: Our featured author will read 10-15 minutes from their book. You’ll also have an opportunity to purchase a copy of their book, if available, before or after the event.
7:30-ish to 8:30-ish: Open mic poetry portion. Each poet will have three (3, tres, trois, tre, שְׁלוֹשָׁה) minutes before being played off stage with a song by the ’80s hair band Poison.
8:30-ish to ¯_(ツ)_/¯: Hang out, talk to people, buy some books from the featured author, maybe put a quarter in the gumball poetry machine, go home with a smile on your face
