Day One: Preview Night

It was the best move loading in the day before setting up. I parked in Barrio Logan at around 11am approximately 1 1/2 miles from the Convention Center. It was a liesurely walk only carrying my light pack, a thermos of coffee and a large bottle of water. This was nothing compared to the two trips with a loaded dolly of nearly the same distance. Set up went smooth and new display stands eased our space issues. We have a lot of items. The preview night opens the main floor 5:30pm – 9:00pm. Had a great first day sold stuff and met some talented artists. Sold a book well known comic book authority, however I didn’t know who it was till told after the fact, which makes it all the more pure. The official start is tomorrow. Looking froward to the long days ahead.
