Bio:
Chrissy Croft, LCSW (she/her) is a poet, lifelong writer, social worker specializing in community mental health, escape room enthusiast, and gluten intolerant foodie. She won the 2017 National Poetry Slam and placed second at the 2025 Big Foot Regional Poetry Festival both as part of The San Diego PoetrySLAM Team. She is a Pushcart Prize Nominee for her poem, “The Exegesis of Myself” published in the 2025 San Diego Poetry Annual. Chrissy is also a two-time San Diego Gladiator Slam Champion (2024 and 2025). In 2017, CityBeat Magazine named her one of the Best People in San Diego for her poetry and mental health advocacy. Chrissy has been mentored and coached by world-renowned poet Rudy Francisco. Chrissy calls San Diego Poetry Slam her writing  home.
