Bio:
Cesar Gíl Yuriar is a first generation mixed race, queer neurodivergent, spoken word poet and legal analyst from San Diego, CA. Cesar has performed spoken word poetry for 13 years and has been blessed to hold creative space everywhere from farmers markets and parking lots to TEDx at UC Irvine, though his greatest claim to fame remains leaving a Supreme Court Justice speechless for the best (and worst) reasons. Cesar is proudly living with Bipolar Disorder and actively aspires to promote mental health acceptance, advocacy, and awareness, both professionally through his work in civil rights enforcement with the California Department of Justice and creatively as a poet throughout Southern California.
