My name is Anthony Azzarito aka Adversary. I’m a 28 year old, San Diego native, born and raised. I have a beautiful wife and 3 crazy sons. I started writing rhymes when I was 14. My first love was poetry and then soon turned into rap lyrics. My work is very real/dark and typically based of of past experiences/real life situations. I’m also in the Army for 8 years now and a recruiter in Imperial Beach. Currently I’m working on my hip hop album which I go by my MC name ‘Adversary’ with my group Humbled Minds. Also working on my poetry manuscript and hope to soon have that published. And very much love and involved with the San Diego poetry open mic scene.

After the featured reading we will have an open mic.
