Bio: 
Montezuma III (M3) is an Indigenous poet, MC, and cultural worker based on Payómkawichum Territory (Escondido, CA), proudly rooted in the Caxcan Nation of Ameca, Jalisco. Their multidisciplinary work focuses on decolonization, Indigenous sovereignty, and cultural healing using storytelling as a vehicle for truth, visibility, and transformation.

M3’s creative practice is grounded in the belief that Indigenous stories are vital to collective healing and future-making. Whether on stage or in community, their work serves as a bridge, linking ancestral memory with present-day movement. The priority is to make space for Indigenous voices to lead with strength and purpose.
