“San Francisco was awesome!
My first reading in SF was at at Viracocha, hosted by The Word Party featuring a jazz band(sax, bass, percussion) backing the poets. The hostess made a comment during the intro about poets and sex poems. I was the 10th of maybe 30 poets and the place was packed. Great place [...]

“First of three nights reading poetry in San Francisco was spent at Keane’s 3300 Club. Located in the Mission District the 3300 Club hosts a poetry open mic on Tuesdays at 7p. A True dive bar, the atmosphere made me feel at home and the tequila helped too. Reading, writing and drinking, yes San Francisco [...]

“Thank you. It was quite the journey and made awesome by my friends and family that put me up and put up with me. The car rental companies will be placing me on a ‘No’ list after 6400+ miles in 18 days. Feeling guilty for that carbon-fest but that will be the last big road [...]

“Leaving Colorado and driving east through Kansas can be daunting and boring for most. It’s long, flat and straight, there’s not a lot to see and the highway patrol is relentless, so speeding is not an option unless you have $ to burn. Self restraint, deep thoughts, coffee and cruise control made the trek enjoyable.”
